Well it's not the Rolling Stones. But for bike enthusiasts the AMA American Motorcyclist is even better!Particularly since there is not a whole lot of riding going on in the Northeast. So when the latest AM came out I could not believe it that the cover story was about the head of Victory Motorcycles, Mark Blackwell.
Of course I'm sure it has a lot to do with this being the 10th Anniversary of Victory Motorcycles. But it still felt good. As a AMA Hall of Fame-er, 1971 500cc Trans-AMA champ, Suzuki motocross team manager, and the list goes on, Mark Blackwell deserves to be On the Cover of ...
And so do Victory Motorcycles. I can remember the media coverage on Victory's in the early days. It was, well in a word BAD. Now it's hard to read a review that isn't praising these great bikes. Just this week a customer brought in a review of the 2009 Victory Kingpin from Motorcycle Consumer News. What a good read!
